wHAT WE OFFER

We have multiple support programmes on offer:

Ruataniwha: 

12 month Alternative Education for rangatahi who do not feel successful in mainstream. 

Age: 13-16 – outdoors based, fast paced, alternative to classroom based learning

Building Programme:

22 week programme learning building, construction allied trades – that results in a NCEA Level 2 qualification
Age: 16-24 years (or 15 with an early leaver’s exemption from the Ministry of Education) 

Taiao Programme

22 week programme learning kaitiakitanga skills of environmental management. Planting, hunting, fishing and caring for the land – that results in a New Zealand Certificate level 4 qualification.
Age: 17+ years (no upper limit) 

Kainga Sorted

8 week financial programme helping whānau to become financially independent and save for their first home on the housing spectrum.
Age: open to all ages
